Troubleshooting
Your search calls up far too many photographs.
NB it is possible to make a selection which calls up hundreds
or even thousands of photographs and which seriously overloads
your computer. If this happens start your search again ("reset
selection") use the same search criteria, but add at
the end an "AND" which gives you a smaller number
of hits. The easiest way to do this is to add a geographical
category (if you have not had one in the original selection
- "AND Ghana") or to go one step down from the category
you already had - from a state to a region (instead of Ghana
"Eastern Region) e.g., or from a region to an individual
place (instead of Eastern Region "Abetifi" for example).
You ask the computer to call up an enhanced image
("open in") or "more details", and nothing seems to happen.
On many computers this command opens a second screen, which
may be concealed by the screen you have been working on so
far. So keep an eye open for the operating information in
the menu bars at the bottom of the screen.
If you having problems which you cannot solve, please send
us an email
and we will try to advise you. This includes helping you to
find the place-name or the keyword you want to search for.
